Green Bay's first-round draft choice in 1988, Sterling Sharpe stepped right into the lineup of the rebuilding Packers, and never looked back until the day he retired! His career was short but spectacular, bridging the gap between the 1980s doldrums and the Brett Favre-led renaissance before leaving the game behind after a 1994 neck injury. In seven NFL seasons, Sterling was a Pro Bowler five times, averaged over 1,000 yards per season, and is now a member of the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
